John M. Nametz, O.D.
A graduate of St. Louis High School, Olivet College, and The Ohio State University College of Optometry, Dr. Nametz has had varied professional experiences. He has provided optometric services in group practice (Charlotte, MI), has been an adjunct clinical associate of the Michigan College of Optometry located at Ferris State University, has provided services to the Department of Corrections in Muskegon, and has been in private practice for over twenty five years. He is currently on the Michigan Board of Examiners in Optometry, and has served as the President of the North Central States Optometry Council, President of the Spring Lake Rotary Club, President of the Michigan Optometric Association, and the President of the Spring Lake Public Schools Board of Education. Dr. Nametz was the 2002 Michigan Optometrist of the Year. He has continued to act as assistant coach for the Spring Lake boys varsity basketball team for over twenty years. Dr. Nametz has a wife, Cheryl, who is a consultant for the visually-impaired for Ottawa County, and has two children. Lindsay is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, and is a consultant for the visually-impaired in suburban Cincinnati, and Abby is a sophomore at Grand Valley State University.

Susan Millett and Brenda Harr
Susan Millett and Brenda Harr are both experienced staff members at the office, and are both residents of the Tri-Cities. Susan is primarily responsible for the management of patient records, accounts receivables, insurance billing, and patient reception. Brenda is responsible for management of the contact lens and frame inventories, eyewear fitting and dispensing, contact lens instructions, and fashion eyewear consulting. Both of these people are pleasant to work with, for both doctor and patient, and are dedicated to helping each patient make the office experience an enjoyable one.
